NERD RAP BATTLE: CLOSED
prize provided by : ![]()
What Went Down :
Players were asked to dowenload an mp3 and then call in to the camp microphone with a nerd rap.
The only restriction placed was that the word "bacon" and the player's team affiliation had to appear in the rap.
All entries can be listened to in the player to the right. You can download the mp3 via the share page...since all the entries are beat matched - we could make a bad ass mix!
Entries were judged by Jonathan Coulton and Doc Popular. Both judges independently came up with identical picks for Gold and Silver! Since their bronze picks differed they were awarded to both entries as a tie. The Gold
Medalist (Chris) recieved a pair of tickets to anywhere JetBlue flies.

Jonathan Coulton is the Contributing Troubadour for Popular Science magazine and the musical director for John Hodgman’s Little Gray Book Lectures. Every week for a year Jonathan released a new song for free on his website as part of his Thing a Week podcast, on topics as diverse as vengeful nerds, self-loathing giant squid, partially-imagined historical figures, and devotees of a certain Swedish prefab furniture store. The Thing a Week project is now complete, and all songs can be streamed for free from his website. (www.jonathancoulton.com) |
