very sorry about the rocky start to the scavenger hunt - all should be fixed now… i think we still have all the data - just don’t have what link goes with what entry - we are working on a way to restore the data - or at least show you all the links you submitted so that you can tell us what goes with what
i am very sorry to those of you that spent time looking and had problems…i hope it was at least a fun experience - and i will do my best to fix what was lost.
and again - it should all work properly - but in case you are worried, save a copy of the link in a word doc.
Ze - the scavenger hunt gives me the type of bottomless joy that can only be found from verbally abusing a houseplant after drinking a nice, hot mugful of bourbon. Thanks to you and Erik for all the work!
To those of you who lost your links, check your history. They should be there via your browser. That is unless you did your hunting on your computer at work which scrubs all memory and dumps all cache files.
Would actually prefer not getting things restored (though I may be in the minority), as I have restored everything, and part of that was probably putting in some better links.
